This is a wonderful example of Agaricocrinus americanus from the classic crinoid locality of Crawfordsville, Indiana. The crinoid is very 3-dimensional and the plate structure is superb. It has a long articulated stem which even preserves one of the cirri. The heavy biserial arms display small pinnules. There are also two other crinoid stems present on the slab. The color and contrast of the fossils is excellent. This is a very nice crinoid slab from a famous site.
