This is a fabulous crinoid fossil. It is a rare Pellecrinus from Crawfordsville, Indiana. This specimen was acquired from a major crinoid collection. This crinoid is huge - 13 inches long including the stem. There is also an added bonus with this piece - there is an Onychaster starfish inside the arms of the crinoid (an arm of the starfish is easily seen in the close-up photo). This is a very collectible example of this rare crinoid and starfish.
