This is an exquisite Ulrichicrinus coryphaeus from Crawfordsville. This is a "perfect" example, complete to the very tips of the arms. This crinoid has wonderful detail. The plate structure is great. You can count the number of plates in each arm all the way to the tips. This crinoid is 3-dimensional and contrasts well with the matrix. It is nicely centered on an almost squared piece of matrix. Also associated with this crinoid is a juvenile Cyathocrinites multibrachiatus with long stem. This piece was recently acquired from the DeRosear Collection. This is a very displayable crinoid from Crawfordsville.
