This is a great specimen of a Barycrinus from Crawfordsville. The specimen has articulated stem, good plate structure, and fantastic arms. This particular genus is very hard to obtain with complete arms. Usually one or more arms are broken off short. This specimen was recently acquired from the DeRosear Collection. This crinoid is very 3-dimensional, has excellent detail, and nice contrast with the almost squared block of matrix. This is a superb specimen of a Barycrinus from Crawfordsville, Indiana.
