This is a very nice plate of Ordovician crinoids. There are at least 5 complete Ectenocrinus on this piece of matrix. There is also another crinoid on the piece which could be a juvenile Ectenocrinus or, perhaps, another species of crinoid. Most of the crinoids show the plate structure nicely and have some stem attached. As added interest, there is also a partial of an extremely rare starfish, showing most of the main disc and two of the arms. This is a very nice Ordovician association piece from Kentucky.
