This is an interesting assemblage of crinoids from Crawfordsville, Indiana. The large specimen with the long stem is Macrocrinus mundulus. This specimen has very long arms prominently displayed. The anal tube and a long portion of stem are also preserved on this beautifully detailed specimen. There are also two other Macrocrinus crinoids on the plate. There is also a very 3-D Cyathocrinites on the upper left corner of the plate. The fossils have good color and great contrast and display well on the large, rectangular plate of limestone. This is a very nice multiple plate of crinoids from the Mississippian of Indiana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
