Two wonderful examples of Dichocrinus multiplex is preserved on the plate. The larger crinoid is beautifully displayed, with the feathery arms and most of the LONG stem present, which is very unusual. The fossil echinoderms have great color and contrast and are nicely showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a spectacular crinoid from a classic locality that is now closed to collecting. This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
